The coastal area is very popular during the summer period while the mountains during this hot and humid time offer a less crowded and more comfortable venue. Outside of the summer season the coast is less crowded and some beaches and coves can be deserted. The mountains during this period are also cool enough to make strenuous sports and leisure activities a pleasure. The spring and autumn periods are warm and sunny making these the ideal times to tour and explore this scenic area by car, motorcycle, bicycle, horse or on foot.
